Have you ever walked past a food truck and been drawn in by the delicious smell or the bustling crowd? Food trucks are an exciting way to bring great food to the streets, but not all food trucks are created equal. While some attract a steady stream of customers, others struggle to get noticed. So, what’s the secret to running a successful food truck?
Running a successful food truck business takes careful planning—strategies for location, finances, sourcing ingredients, providing excellent customer service, and, of course, equipping your kitchen with the right tools. Choosing the right kitchen equipment is critical to your food truck’s success, as it will directly impact your food quality, preparation speed, and space efficiency.
Here’s a quick guide from Rebenet to help you select the best commercial kitchen equipment for your food truck.
1.Fryers for Fried Favorites like Fries, Wings, or Donuts
When it comes to fried food, speed and consistency are key. The Rebenet Freestanding Gas Deep Fryer GF90 is one of our most popular fryers, designed with a stainless steel vat and available in four different sizes to match your needs. The 3 vertical cast iron burners pack a punch with a powerful total output of 90,000 BTU/hr, allowing for quick heat-up and recovery, even during peak hours. If you need something even more powerful, we offer fryers with up to 5 burners!
In limited kitchen space, every inch counts. That’s why we also offer the Rebenet CTF-3 countertop fryer—compact but powerful, perfect for smaller spaces without sacrificing capacity.
Cleaning your fryer is just as important as using it, and our fryers come with oil drain valves to make that process as easy as possible.
2.Griddles or Charbroilers for Burgers, Tacos, or Breakfast Items
Griddles are perfect for everything from pancakes and eggs to burgers and quesadillas. The Rebenet Gas Griddle EGG36S comes in various sizes (from 16” to 60”) and features U-shaped steel burners that deliver 30,000 BTU/hr each. The best part? You can cook different foods at different temperatures, so you can sear burgers on one side while warming up bacon on the other.
If you're looking for that smoky, flame-grilled flavor, our Rebenet Charbroiler ECB24S is ideal for steaks, chicken, or vegetables. Featuring heavy-duty cast iron grates for optimal heat retention and searing, this grill gives you perfect grill marks every time.
3. Gas Noodle Boiler/Pasta Cooker
If pasta is part of your menu, a Rebenet Gas Pasta Cooker PC11 should be on your list. Featuring a high-powered 70,000 BTU burner, this cooker offers fast temperature recovery and precision control for perfect pasta every time. Plus, the S/S 316 stainless steel construction is resistant to corrosion, making it durable enough for the tough food truck environment.
4. Food Showcases to Keep Food Warm
A food showcase not only keeps your dishes warm but also makes them look irresistible. The Rebenet FM-26 Food Display Warmer is designed with toughened glass on all sides for excellent visibility, with vertical fluorescent lamps to enhance the food’s presentation. With a temperature range of 30-90°C, this warmer ensures your food stays at the perfect temperature, while a built-in advertising area lets you showcase your brand as well.
5. Countertop Ranges for Versatile Cooking
Space is limited in a food truck, and versatility is key. A Rebenet Gas Hotplate is a great addition to your kitchen, offering 2, 4, or 6 burners, all with cast iron grates for even heat distribution. Our GHP-6 model delivers 25,000 BTU/hr per burner, and the removable grates make it easy to clean. If you need extra space for pots and pans, our step-up design provides even more room for efficient cooking.
6. Bakery Equipment for Pizzas and More
If you plan to serve pizza, a conveyor pizza oven is an excellent choice. The Rebenet CP-140IR is perfect for food trucks, allowing you to bake multiple pizzas at once with adjustable speed settings to ensure consistent quality. This oven can also be stacked for larger orders, making it an efficient choice for high-volume cooking.
7. Efficiency, Durability, and Space-Saving Designs
Every inch of space in a food truck matters, so choosing equipment that’s both efficient and compact is key. All of the equipment we offer is designed to work in harmony with your space, boosting productivity without crowding your kitchen. Durability and ease of cleaning are also top priorities, ensuring your investment will last through the rigors of a mobile kitchen.

How do you use your digital commercial waffle maker? In this blog, we’ll guide you through the step-by-step process of operating one of our most popular commercial waffle makers—the WB-03D. Let’s get started!
Step 1 – Powering On
First, plug in the waffle maker and switch it on. Ensure that the supply voltage matches the unit’s required voltage. Press the “ON/OFF” button to turn on the machine. Once powered on, the buzzer will sound three times, and the LED display will show the last-used time setting.
Step 2- Precondition the Non-stick Plates
To protect the non-stick coating and ensure easy waffle removal, lightly coat the plates with butter or cooking oil before use.
Step 3 –Preheating the Waffle Maker
Now, let's set up the cooking time. The timer can be set from 00:00 to 99:59. Press the Up or Down button to adjust the time. Pay attention, if you hold the Up or Down button, it will increase or decrease the time rapidly. Or if you press “START/STOP” alone, the countdown will begin automatically.
Next, let’s set the temperature: Press “SET” and “START/STOP” simultaneously to enter temperature mode. Use the Up or Down button to adjust the temperature, which ranges from 124°C to 230°C (255.2°F to 446°F). Once set, press “START/STOP” to begin preheating.
When the heating process starts, the green indicator light will turn on. The unit will heat up to the selected temperature, then stop once it reaches the set degree. The bottom orange light will illuminate when heating is complete.
When it reaches the setting degree, it will stop heating and the bottom orange indicator will turn on. Once the timer reaches zero, the buzzer will sound three times, signaling that time is finished.
Step 4 – Baking Waffles
Carefully open the lid—the cooking plates will be very hot. Evenly pour the batter into the center of the lower grid, filling about two-thirds of the plate to allow room for expansion. It's okay if some of the batter seeps out. This just means you need to use a little less next time.
Close the lid and rotate the handle 180°. Press “START/STOP” to begin the timer. You may notice steam escaping during cooking—this is normal. When the timer buzzes: Rotate the handle 180° back to its original position. Carefully open the lid and use anti-scratch utensils to remove the waffles to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
Now you know how to use the Rebenet WB-03D digital commercial waffle maker like a pro.
Happy waffle making!

Following our recent guide on how to properly use a commercial waffle maker, this post focuses on the essential steps for cleaning and maintaining your waffle maker to ensure optimal performance and extend its service life.
Step 1 – Powering Off
First, before any cleaning or maintenance, always turn off and unplug the unit. Allow it to cool completely to avoid burns or damage.
Step 2 – Removing the Loose Debris
Use a soft-bristle brush or a dry paper towel to remove any crumbs from the cooking plates gently. Make sure your cleaning utensils are anti-scratch so that they won’t damage the non-stick coating surface.
Step 3 – Wiping the Surface
Next, take a soft sponge or cloth dampened with warm water. If there are stuck-on residues, you can add a little mild dish soap. Gently wipe the Teflon-coated surface, avoiding excessive water. Don’t clean the product with pressure washer or immerse it in water, or let water seep into internal components.
For stubborn residue, you can use a wooden or silicone scraper to lift off or prepare a baking soda and mix it into the water, apply it to the affected area and let sit for 5–10 minutes, then wipe gently.
Step 4 – Dry the Plates
Dry the plates with a soft towel before storage to prevent rust.
How to Maintain a Commercial Waffle Maker?
Regular maintenance is just as important as daily cleaning. Always refer to the user manual for specific instructions regarding your model. For example, some waffle makers may require seasoning, while others simply need to be kept dry. The Rebenet WB-04B model, for instance, features cast aluminium plates with a Teflon coating. Here’s how to season this type of waffle maker:
1. Before seasoning the waffle maker, make sure it is completely dry.
2. Turn on the waffle maker and allow it to warm up to the cooking temperature (150-200°C).
3. Prepare a high-smoke-point oil like vegetable oil and lightly dab a paper towel or use a soft pastry brush to spread a thin, even layer of oil on the plates. Do not pour oil directly onto the plates, as excess oil can create a buildup over time. Then close the lid and let it heat for 2-3 minutes to allow the oil to bond with the nonstick surface.
4. Turn off the machine and let it cool down completely. Use a clean, dry paper towel to wipe off any excess oil to prevent sticky residue.
By following these cleaning and maintenance steps, you can help keep your commercial waffle maker in top condition, ensuring consistent performance and extended longevity. We’ll continue to publish more helpful guides on how to use and care for commercial kitchen equipment—stay tuned!
